I really wanted to like this shop but will not be coming back. I'm sure they do good work and I suppose prices are OK, although the alignment I paid for was higher than the shop I used before. This review is about communication and follow up, both issues important to me. Prior to my appointment on Feb 14th, I sent 2 communications to the shop asking for a quote for an alignment as I wanted something in writing as I was shopping around. The 1st was to their email address on Jan 15th and 2nd via the portal on their website, a few days later. Both times there was no response. I still dropped off my car at my appointment time of 11:45 for a simple alignment on my Audi A4. Was told it would take 2-3 hours which is fine as I had arranged a ride. At 4 pm, still haven't heard from the shop so I called and was told they looked at my car and recommended a very expensive job. Certainly would have been nice to be informed, no idea when they got my car in. I refused due to the high cost and told them to do the original alignment I brought it in for. I asked if it would be ready the same day and was told no, would be in the next day. Another issue for me, what's the point in making an appointment if it takes a full day to get it back, especially for a simple job as an alignment. The next day I picked up the car and spoke to a gentleman regarding the surprise high cost and he was not surprised I didn't agree to proceed. I did ask about scaling back the job and ask he send me a quote which I never received. Lastly, I'm accustomed to getting a report for an alignment, measurements before and after to see how much the specs were off. Maybe they do not provide such an analysis but 1st time I never rec'd anything, even the Goodyears and Firestones provide this. I'll be going back to my previous mechanic shop, already have an appointment, which by the way I'll be getting the scaled down version of the work I asked a quote for with a price tag I can live with.
