I think the way a business responds when things don’t go exactly as expected says a lot about its honesty, integrity, and overall culture. I brought my vehicle in for what seemed like a straightforward repair, but as is often the case with European cars, the job turned out to be much more involved than expected. Long story short, they had significantly underquoted the work, and by doing so had given me a very generous discount when they quoted the repair. They even had to order specialty tools to complete the repair properly. Instead of passing those unexpected costs on to me, they honored their word, absorbed the extra expense, and never once complained. Their attitude was simply “lesson learned,” and they made sure the job was done right. That kind of integrity is rare. They have earned my trust and will forever have my business.
